BEFORE AND AFTER WEEKEND

How many of you have  experienced events, endings,  and awakenings, that  have SERIOUSLY popped you right OUT of that comfort zone, this past week?

The Full Moon  and all its dramatic aspects on Wednesday, spread this energy from Monday through..well,still today--

What's up????

Emotions will come to the breaking point.  Break ups. Proposals, Re -inventions! Tensions will peak and give way , one way or another, health issues, sick pets, dramatic new beginnings , all come  crashing through this week, to surprise you, unhinge you, and break you wide open to....what's next?

Free will is definitely a force. But then, there are those KARMIC events,people, and circumstances that are simply gong to SHOW UP and change you forever.

This past week, a lot of folks are having 'BEFORE and AFTER" stuff happening. Next week, and the rest of the year, and maybe even the rest of your Life, will not be as it has been ....  at all. In April you'll look back at this time as the "before." This week is a dividing line of some sorts.

This week I have been fortunate to be present at a Spiritual Seminar and I have been blessed to experience some great awakenings. Renewal of Spirit, and the kind of love that you get when you are with your beloved  spiritual tribe.

  In the past 5 days, some very important business decisions have been set in motion(before/after!), my kitty is very sick (NOT before and after,I hope, but, she is very old..).. I have had to deal with some serious illness in beloved friends, I've had  to push back at some bad juju  from various sources, and I sense it's not all over yet!

Upside events and karma : I met 12 incredible new friends from my soul group, and I hope to be in touch with them forever! Their power and wisdom made the week an experience to remember and have added so much to my spiritual growth!!!! And I got to hike among the Red Rocks of Sedona, (mostly airport mesa this time)  always a peak experience.

It's the Good the Bad and the  Ugly this week!  For almost everyone. Quite a ride.

Have a strong spiritual center,meditating and prayer, all help!

Gather your loving"tribe" around you this weekend.  Accept all help that is offered.Don't go it alone. Find the meaning in what you're going through. And do find time for Laughter!

MOON GAZING THIS WEEK??

FULL MOON RISING

Wednesday is our Full Moon, a bit of a doozy for this year. I find that doing a meditation with the Moon energy in mind soothes my Soul and puts me in touch with my idea of a Higher Power.

I love being able to  just LOOK UP and see La Luna, bright and full...

I enjoy Moon Circles site (the link above) for a 3  minute routine you can do easily alone or with others.

So many of us feel very pressured to ACT, to sever, to be hasty in decisions this week..SLOOOOOOW down and weigh your options. Don't expect to be rational during this full moon. Just try to be.. well, hang on, that's all!!!!

A good idea is not to push an agenda at anyone no matter how urgent it feels to you.

I am in full out spiritual mode, enjoying some red rock energy and immersed in a  lively Spiritual Hypnosis class with other Light Workers  this week.. and it's pretty energetic! I feel supported and  I expect this Full Moon will be exhilarating, not troublesome.(But who knows???)

Find a way to relax this next few days and don't act in haste in any matters!

CALL TO HEAL?

Maybe you feel called to be a Light Worker. You  might feel guided to learn about healing or hypnotherapy,  or, perhaps astrology or tarot are calling your name.

I believe that the times our Native American elders taught us about , this time of great change, is upon us, and the need for healing on the personal and the global level is pressing.

I can't  (wouldn't!) run for President, and I can't solve ALL the problems of the planet.But I can do my part on a day to day basis, and so can you.

Whatever your calling, get busy!

Aries energy is a call to ACTION.

Volunteer, mentor, take some classes to hone your skills in whatever is calling your passions up these days.

It's no secret that a lot of western medicine is pretty ineffective, and even harmful! So, learn all you can about self care, diet and exercise, massage and body work, and Reconnection and Reiki healing.

I am fortunate enough this week to be sharing a house with a Biophoton Light Therapy healer.There is much research about many many healing modalities that are definitely not mainstream, but then, neither was chemotherapy.  Acupuncture,herbs, and body work are all important ways to take care of yourself.

Keep an open mind, practice good SELF CARE, and  think about what  YOU have to offer the world, your friends, family and neighbors.Sometimes  a simple kind word is the best healing there is!

Be a bright light!

PASSIONATE EMBRACE, VENUS AND THE MOON

Leo Moon with aspects to the Venus and Sun in Aries brings us a peppy weekend filled with outdoor activities, quick starts on brand new projects, and a dash of romance. If you've been hiding under a rock lately, this is a weekend to come on out into the sunshine.

Make a concerted effort to get going on projects related to beautification of yourself and/or your surroundings.My dear husband is already outside this morning painting our patio.  I am having a decorating urge and making plans to put some color out into the back yard, and to repaint some areas of the house soon..

A word of caution for upcoming April: Don't over schedule yourself! I did that and had to postpone a small getaway with a friend and feel badly about that.  I have tried to squish a bit too much into one month's time frame!  (Aries energy will do that!!)  Some of the events you'll be called to manage are beyond your control, so just leave some open spaces around all your activities...

I enjoy the fire sign Moons and planets, they bring vim and vigor and passion to the table.

This weekend is a good time to make a start in the direction of those passions!

A LITTLE MAGIC and Moon's in Cancer

Magic in the Air

One of the ways I connect with Spirit is to draw a Tarot Card for the day.I brewed my  rich Columbian coffee this morning, and sat outside in the morning breeze, and out of my lovely GAIAN DECK, THE MAGICIAN appeared!

With all the planets lining up in Aries and some Pluto/Saturn /Uranus push in the mix, I am happy to see some MAGIC come on board!!

When you draw your card, you can go to a book and read the meaning and get your "lesson" for the day.. or, you can simply meditate on the card for a few moments and journal briefly about what YOU feel it means  to you. This is a way to not only get a reading for yourself, but a method of learning how to read the Tarot. When you handle and use and play with and gaze upon your own personal deck often, you will begin to have a "rapport" with your cards.. and they become like a best friend.

I have my Gaian Deck on my kitchen counter always!

So, if I am meant to share my message of the day, I say to you:

Let some magic into your life.No matter how busy and hectic and out of control things seem to get, tune into that part of you that believes the best, that knows the signs and symbols of the Universe, and it  will be lead to just the right Action today.

PUT a little magic into your life on purpose! I am going to do some nice music this evening and burn some aromatherapy candles.

REMEMBER that there are energies and abilities available to you just outside the realm of the mundane.Find them, nurture them,rely on them.

BE the magic today!

A BALANCING ACT TODAY

Welcome Spring Equinox! I love this day when the day and night are of equal length.And, in my mind, of equal value.

We need both the Dark and the Light. In the darkness of the Night, we have time and quiet to contemplate, to meditate, to dream.And in the bright of the Sun we take action, we make decisions, and we play.

Where in your life do you need Balance? Are you over working or over spending (one will  lead to the other, you know!)  Are you out more with friends and hobbies and giving short shrift to family time?

Have you become a hermit and don't socialize at all? Do you need the balance of some  group activities or social engagements?

Spring is about seeds breaking through the fertile soil and turning into food, beauty,flowers, trees.... what in YOU is seeking to BREAK OUT..??

Aries is a special action- oriented energy and we have lots of it in the mix lately. It's a great week to?   take specific action towards one of your dreams, and to get up off the couch and get your body moving.

Yoga?  Baseball? A long walk in the woods?

When we get moving physically often the mind and Spirit follow!

IT'S A RHUMBA NOT A WALTZ!

Mars is dancing with Pluto and Uranus in a way that can cause impatience and an over drive energy in many of us today.  We seem to want ACTION on issues that have been hanging around a while, and we want it NOW!

A good way to handle today's energy is to ease your way into conversations (Mercury is finally direct, in Pisces, conjunct Neptune)  and use your imagination rather than brute force to get to resolutions.

Physical activity can burn off some steam, but do take it slowly and do your warm ups!!

For people who enjoy the status quo , the next 2 weeks will seem disruptive.If you are anxious to make big changes and maybe even reinvent yourself from the bottom up, well, there's no time like the present.

It's always a good idea to examine the roots of your personality, your desires,  and your dreams,before you go galloping off into the next crusade, though.This would be a great couple of weeks for spiritual readings, therapy, meditation, Shamanic journeying, or any method that helps you get in touch with your Soul and your True Purpose.

I have had a busy flurry of readings appointments,from New York to Alaska! So I know most of you are feeling this..

Use Mercury's direct energy in the dreamy sign of Pisces as a clue that it is okay to fantasize.. take time out for some day dreaming,  because you will find a lot of  direction in those dreams..

After the Noon Hour: Bliss

I love a nice Moon in Taurus.After noon time today we move away from the  ansty,aggravating Aries  Moon energy and into .. relative Bliss...  I love how a Taurus Moon makes us break out the candles and the nice dishes, the satin sheets, and the Dean Martin music..ok, the ? Michael Buble CD.

With Neptune in the mix it can only be magical.

If you are enjoying a nice evening by your self.. pour a glass of merlot or apple cider, and relax.. read some poetry? Browse through an art magazine?  Make a nice dinner and savor it...

NEW MOON ENERGY STILL AVAILABLE!

A New Moon energy is the time of the calendar to set new intentions. Living in rhythm with Mother Nature and the Stars is a nice way to organize your Life, just in case you've been running around "willy nilly!"

Some people are planners and some are not. Sometimes  I envy those "seat of the pantsters" but I admit I am not one  of them.

I carefully look at the month ahead, I plan some quiet time to write my new intentions at the New Moon.I schedule play and entertainment during the Full Moon, and it seems I often travel then.

If there are tense aspects  coming up I note those days so I can just pace myself a little differently.I don't use the planets to avoid important decisions or tasks..but I do like living in the flow of what I feel is the "Planetary Vibe.."  And I always get my haircut on a good "Venus" day!

The creatures of the sea, the tides, all respond to the Moon and Solar flares affect everything from your iphone to airplanes..  why not you!??

So, we're still in the NEW MOON mode --take a few minutes to sit down and write out a couple of ideas you'd like to pursue this month (from New Moon to New Moon..) I keep a stack of colorful index cards around and that's where I write my intentions, then I keep them in my dayplanner. (I know, you use icalendar.. you could write them in evernote I suppose! But I like the whole color aspect, and being able to TOUCH and READ and HANDLE my intentions!

When you begin to make some small goals and intentions, and you give time to read them, ponder them, and expect the best to happen, guess what: A lot of the time, your intentions will MANIFEST!

At the very least you will receive guidance and info on WHAT YOU NEED TO DO (ACTION!) to make it all happen..and then it's up to you!

THESE DREAMS

Pisces planets moving into Aries bring about an awakening that comes from the deepest and sometimes  darkest parts of your psyche.I would venture to say your DREAMS ,lately, will tell you quite a lot about what's up next..what you can manifest into existence.

As my friend Richard Sutphen says, you are only in charge of YOU, however! If any of your plans and dreams involve changing another person's mind, well..  they are best left to their own ideas and you concentrate on yours! Aries is a bit strong -willed anyway--  collaboration is not easy at this time.

FIRE, NOT BRIMSTONE, AND NEW GOALS!

Mars moves it's fiery tail into the sign of Aries today and a bit of our Pisces muddle will begin to clear.  But not all at once! Slow down (Mars likes to cause mishaps if we're not being careful!)

A New Moon today accelerates your desire to set new goals and make some aggressive moves,but Mercury still in retrograde means you have to slow down a little and collect your facts and figures a bit longer.

A change in MOOD is very apparent today, however and you may find this turns out to be one of your favorite MONDAYS.

I like the energy of a Mars in Aries for starting a new food/meal/exercise plan, for writing the starts of a new business plan, and for clearing out the clutter of the last doldrums you may have been in.

Yes, I use astrological cycles to guide my choices..everyone organizes their life by SOME system, some set of principles, and the Heavens are my Guide. A Higher Power made the Stars, the Sun and the Moon. So I would feel bad if I didn't LISTEN to their messages!

Today, call  on your Higher Power, as Wayne Dyer says, whether you call it God, Goddess,Buddha or Louise! And tune into that intuition, that "gut"feeling.." that tells you what your next step should be.
